I am not your friend
Yes that is what my little girl says when she is not happy with something. she wears a angry look similar to those grumpy old people who look from above the rim of their reading glasses with chin lowered at their subjects who seem to get on their nerves. I am sure she got this from one of the numerous children TV cartoon. Anyway today at school another kid claimed that what she wore that day was hers indeed. It is not surprising because her dad or mom may have membership to the same retail store like COSTCO where prices and quality are reasonable. The claim by another kid on the dress threw off my girl.. That was all. she just broke up with her that very moment. The decision was instant. No thoughts went for that decision or was any hard feelings involved, no violence. A few minutes passed, the other kid says.. hey look at that toy... it is so cute. My kid responded with "wow.. yeess..it is so cute". The next moment they were both playing sharing the toy. Wait a minute.. that flip was dramatic. They were fighting one moment but getting along the other. Well.. if i had the power to fast forward say another 20 years.. do I find the same kids as adults doing the same thing.. The world will be changed for them and they will shed this quality.
